Rana Rahman
Founder and MD

Rana Raptor has been delivering highly valued global communications counsel to world-class tech brands and PR agencies for over 20 years. He has devised and executed creative campaigns for dozens of market leading brands including Microsoft, Admix, AppLovin, Philips, and Sony, and helped launch the hypercasual media trend in 2017. 

His enthusiasm for cutting-edge tech is matched only by his love of old-school relationship building and keen nose for coverage. A lifelong gamer, Rana started his gaming journey on the ZX Spectrum in the early 80s, and has witnessed and been part of gaming’s growth from cottage industry to the world’s biggest entertainment sector. His Mastermind specialist subject is Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Rosie Lumley
PR Account Director

Rosie is a business PR specialist with nearly a decade of experience helping to build and nurture the media reputations of companies from SME advertising agencies to global brands.

 

As a media relations specialist, she loves a good pitch and with an MA in Radio, she’s also a keen audio enthusiast, having worked in production at national radio station, talkRADIO, and within the London podcast scene. While studying at Goldsmiths, she set up and coordinated the university’s first Audio Drama Festival (sponsored by Audible), building the festival up to become a key audio industry event. She is also driving Raptor PR’s podcast offering for its clients. 

Her earliest gaming memories include playing Zelda and GoldenEye on the Nintendo 64 with her brother. Today, she’d describe herself as more of a mobile gamer.

Thomas Huxter
Account Director

Thomas is an experienced comms professional with a diverse track record in PR. A confident PR all-rounder, Thomas’ real passion is content. There is nothing he enjoys more than getting to the heart of a tech product or brand and bringing it to life for its target audiences. Thomas is a content creator in his own right, streaming video games on Twitch in his spare time. He also uses YouTube and TikTok to share the highlights from his channel, which has over 2,500 followers.

Simon Judges
Senior Content Strategist

Simon has over twenty years’ experience in various media marketing and PR channels – on and offline, national and regional, agency and client-side, consumer and B2B.

Over time, he’s established himself as a content writer for a range of purposes, writing to order in a variety of voices. During the last decade, he’s specialised in B2B content, writing thought leadership articles, research reports, whitepapers, press releases, and blog posts for a wide range of IT, technology, and telecoms firms.

He has a patient, calm and methodical approach that has led to him being described as ‘the office Yoda’.

Stefania Cicco
PR Consultant

An accomplished international PR expert with an advanced content creation skill set for social, online, broadcast and print. She plays a critical role both developing and executing PR plans with ruthless, Italian efficiency. Stefi’s tech credentials span gaming (Rovio, Angry Birds, Gismart), FashionTech and b2b technology sectors. Armed with a former career in journalism, having worked for leading Italian newspapers and broadcast channels. Her current projects include consulting not-for-profit, dedicated to the promotion and defense of human, civil and political rights, including the right to science and the application of AI to increase the knowledge of civil liberties.

Derek Man
Designer and Art Director

Based in London, Derek has  a decade’s experience in branding, design and art direction. Having first honed his skills at NB Studio, he went freelance in 2015 and has since worked for various studios and as an independent consultant for a range of clients, from global brands to independent start-ups. His experience includes Almeida Theatre, BrewDog, Boots, John Lewis, OPPO, Vodafone, ZSL London Zoo, and Borkowski.

Rob Richardson
Senior Web Design and Digital Media Consultant

Rob is an expert in digital marketing, design and development, with over 20 years of experience in strategic digital planning, and execution of best-in-class digital campaigns. Having begun his career in 1995 at IBM, where he worked with Wimbledon Championships, Samsung, Vauxhall and Prudential. In 2002 he started his own digital agency enotions, working with the likes of Tropicana, Haagan Dazs and Cobra Beer. 

He is also the author of traditionally published three novels with Duckworth and RedDoor publishers.
